In YAF, we are truly fortunate to have the support of exceptionally talented researchers, such our colleague Rodrigo Ledesma-Amaro (Imperial College London), whose lab is part of an ongoing collaboration with the Bezos Centre for Sustainable Protein – Imperial, the Microbial Food Hub, and Frontier Space. Within the framework of this collaboration, they are exploring the production of food in space and, last week, a few selected microbial cells from Rodrigo’s lab went to space!
