Tomás Zubak (DC1) at IMDEA Energy, participated last week in Madrid is Science Fair, a science outreach event aimed at school communities and the general public.
Together with his colleagues from the Biotechnological Processes Unit of IMDEA Energy, Tomás:
- Explored the fascinating world of microorganisms with yeast and bacteria cultures, showcasing their importance in biotechnology and everyday life.
- Carried out a DNA workshop, where attendees extracted DNA from fruit and got a hands-on understanding of the molecule that defines life.
