Marta Yabar (DC9) participated in the Yeast Lipid Conference (YLC2026), held in Graz, Austria, from 3–6 June 2026. The biennial conference brings together researchers from around the world working on yeast lipid metabolism, biotechnology, cell biology and related fields, providing an excellent platform for scientific exchange and collaboration.
The conference offered a valuable opportunity to discuss her work with experts in the field, receive constructive feedback and establish new scientific connections that will support the development of her research.
Participation in international conferences is a key component of the YAF training programme, enabling doctoral candidates to disseminate their research, strengthen their communication skills and engage with the wider scientific community.
