Last month, Nicolas Fink, Doctoral Candidate (DC4) at Imperial College London (ICL), attended the Annual EEBio Programme Grant event at the University of Oxford. The EEBio Programme seeks to strengthen the intersection of biology and engineering, paving the way toward a mature engineering discipline. 🔬
During the event, Nicolas presented his research on enhancing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) blends through the use of synthetic microbial communities and division of labor. 🧬 He also attended inspiring talks on Engineering and Control of Predictable and Reliable Biosystems, and actively participated in engaging discussions with members of the vibrant EEBio community.
