On January 15, 2025, YAF Supervisors attended the “Leadership and Management Skills Course for Group Leaders“. The program focused on communication, collaboration, and leadership, helping participants achieve career goals efficiently and effectively. It covered strategies for empowering others in research, self-organization, and management. The course also encouraged experience-sharing, networking, and collaboration while promoting a peer support group for ongoing growth and knowledge-sharing.

‘This was a great course that gave the PI some tools to be good leaders paying attention not only to the global interest of a group but also to individuals. The most important for me was that the trainers left the floor to share experiences and launched open questions that made all of us reflecting about our behaviours as leaders or supervisors. We also received interesting tips to be more efficient in terms of time management. In summary, very instructive and inspiring course!’ (Elia Tomás, Project Coordinator and DC1 Supervisor)
