On February 11th, in alignment with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, YAF Project Coordinator, Elia Tomás, presented the project at the BioCircular SUMMIT. The event was organised by BIOPLAT | Spanish Biocircularity Technology and Innovation Platform and BIOCIRC | Asociación Española de Biocircularidad.
The Summit served as a key platform for discussing the biocircularity sector, covering national and European policies, regulatory frameworks (energy, fuels, renewable gases, circular economy, waste management), and its impact on related industries such as agriculture, livestock, forestry, and manufacturing. Sustainability, innovation, and the sector’s positive impact were also central themes of the discussions.
